The Malady of Restlessness

The Spirited Boy is restless in his mind. He is restless because he wants to do everything. But the restlessness inhibits him from doing anything. To do nothing. What a paradox. The restlessness is so intimidating that The Spirited Boy's mind forces itself to become numb. To become a driftwood of a sunken ship aimlessly floating in the vast ocean of random thoughts.  The Spirited Boy's mind thinks that the opposite of restlessness is peace. However that is wrong, the opposite of restlessness is in fact nothingness. The Spirited Boy teeters on the edge of nothingness. Which is why The Spirited Boy runs. He runs from restlessness to ease the restlessness. He runs on the cliff's edge...millimeters from nothingness.  He runs from himself. The Spirited Boy is a runner...
